FO / BO classifications only apply to companies whose products are services in which case those employees providing the services i.e. driving revenue are FO and those who support the people providing the services are BO. If the company produces a product rather than a service there are so many factors “driving revenue” (supply chain issues being one of them) but generally it’s dumb to try to assign FO / BO classifications.

^in my humble opinion

BO/MO/FO typically refers to finance jobs at banks. Supply-chain is an operations role. The categorization doesn't even apply in this case.
