Is there a way to determine in an excel tab has any dependents in other tabs? i.e., how can I determine if deleting the sheet will cause problems?
hi, as per title, is there a way to determine in an excel tab has any dependents in other tabs? i.e., how can I determine if deleting a sheet will cause problems or #REF in the excel file (without using a macro would be best!)
basically i have a working file for an IM and it's gotten rather lengthy with the drips that the client is sending over the days/weeks. Recently, i've thought about deleting some tabs to make it less lengthy and more easy to manage when i share it with people to show where i got my figures from. Would like to delete some tabs without causing #REF errors and not sure how other than to do trial by error (i.e. save, delete a tab and see what happens) but thought there must be a better way.
Ctrl+f "name of tab" in formulas within workbook
