Is there any advantage to starting training at the 1st or 2nd start date?
I'll be a summer at a BB which has two start dates, and I was just wondering if anyone considered there to be any tangible benefit to doing the 1st or 2nd session?

there are compelling reasons for both. it depends on whether or not the 2 sessions overlap, or are sequential..
in general the first start date is wharton(penn) yale all the semester based schools...judging by your name, you probably want to be with your classmates in the first start date
the later start date has a lot of harvard, stanford, and princeton and the trimester schools
out of curiosity, what is the second start date?
Usually the second week of June.
I think everyone knowws the BB because as far as I know there is only one that has two sessions. It's really done by your school schedule. Very few schools (if any) can actually do both sessions.
More than 1 BB has multiple start dates.
Oh, I actually didn't know that. Most of my friends working this summer claim that they only have one program. Good to know though.
