You know that saying that everyone has his/her price in life? I'm wondering if everyone has that magic number where they would go "Hey, you know what? I don't need any more money that x to be content."

I know it's extremely tough to think about that when we're all young and ambitious but I'm sure it's out there.

Thoughts?

(by the way, not trying to promote socialism or undermine capitalism, just more of rhetorical quesiton)

Make a spreadsheet including all of the expenses you could ever wish to make including vacations and quantity, children's tuition, sports cars, homes in different countries, food, insurance, savings, and other very miscellaneous charges. Be extra generous in what you allow for yourself.

This is the amount of income you must net to satisfy all your materialistic needs. Apply the appropriate tax rate and you will find the gross figure.

My number came out to 600,000 net.

Is that in millions? because otherwise won't even buy you a decent house, forget about homes in different countries.

well to those who think that there must be number out there, its like a carrot attached to the end of the stick tied to the neck of a mule, more he walks to get the carrot further it goes.
