JEF RX to PJT RSSG
If you're a non target but have 36 ACT and a high GMAT, is it possible to crush it at JEF RX and lateral up to PJT? Of course you would have to network and the usual prep work but is it possible assuming top bucket at JEF?

Either by policy or because they have so many people doing on-cycle (and therefore locked up for 2 years), PJT doesn't do lateral recruiting.
EVR and PWP had postings recently
they don't promote analysts to associates so yep policy. occasionally a lateral analyst spot has popped up
Essentially I would have to come in as an Analyst 1? I am 100% fine with that, and doing it on cycle but as far as anyone knows this would be allowed?
First you have to get an offer to Jeff…..
Can’t speak about NY or US, but if based in Europe / London this is certainly possible. Have seen people with worse backgrounds making similar moves. You just need to be fairly technical / strong regardless of where you are coming from.
Hey, if you’re based in London and have some time, could you DM?
Wanted to ask a few questions. Thank you.
Thank you! I assumed the outstanding pedigree of PJT RSSG analyst was simply correlation and no formal policy existed forbidding it. Thank you for the confirmation. Can you give me any tips?
