Jefferies email bouncing back. Was I blocked?

Weird thing happened today. I was sending an update to one of my contacts at Jefferies for the first time in a few months, and my email bounced back with a note from the postmaster. It said "you don't have permission to send to this recipient." Has this happened to anyone else? I'm thinking one of three things happened:
- My contact got fired/quit and that email address isn't active anymore.
- The email system has changed to flag/filter out networking emails.
- I got blocked. I declined an offer from Jeff in the Fall, but my contact seemed pretty cool about it. Guess it's possible he (or HR) blocked me though.

Thoughts? I guess I can text him, but if I was deliberately blocked, I don't want to harass the guy. Should I just the abandon the contact and move on?
