Not sure, but wso keeps on deleting it like rich handler owns wso or something, Elon needs to buy out wso as well

I assume they're being deleted for liability reasons. They name very specific people and don't have any proof of their accusations. Not to say that the accusations aren't real, just that WSO can't assume that every potentailly libelous accusation published here is real. They don't have a way to tell the difference between what is credible and what isn't.

The leak here should have been person A and [Person B] etc. People would have been able to figure it out pretty easily.

hey, this thread is still up as are several others on the topic.  I'm reviewing what my mod team did yesterday, but I suspect certain threads/content was removed because it contained specific names and/or offensive content (from what I've seen so far) - and most of it was coming from brand new members.

When I came across this late last night I even saw someone saying/implying on Twitter that the CEO of Jefferies is somehow close with WSO.  This is not true -- I've never even spoken with him in my life.

I understand the importance of WSO allowing certain topics / situations to be exposed for what they are, however, we must also try and be as balanced as possible and not allow names (from non-public figures) and accusations be posted all over our boards.  We have no journalists on staff and don't have the resources / media team to go do proper fact checking, so we have to rely on our members (ideally certified) to verify certain situations.

Please be patient as I look through everything.

Thank you,

Patrick

Controversial

Allegations in the email are way too detailed to have been completely made up. Wouldn't be surprised at all if the email is true, but also the allegations are serious to the point that any lack of confirmation gets pretty close to libel.

There are probably grains of truth to it but it's also written entirely in a single voice and that voice sounds kinda like a schizo facebook rant. Have you ever read a rant by someone with mental health problems who thinks the post office is gang stalking them? Those get pretty specific too. And someone here also said that the e-mail was sent around but the name list (presented as signatories) had a bunch of people who didn't know what this was about.

Point being, who knows. Could be totally legit, totally fake, somewhere in between. Hopefully we will find out the truth.

Can't confirm the validity of the email but wouldn't be surprised as an ex-Jefferies employee. A lot of the groups and seniors in NYC are very toxic, and Handler does not care as long as the seniors bring in fees. No one should be surprised that the culture at Jefferies is still like this, considering that that the IB franchise was built by someone like Lorello.

I used to paste my bin on many things. days Ago it happened. My Zimbabwe friend, From the NYC office, Asked me about his favorite times at Jefferies, but he couldn't say much about it. He heard Years ago about such scandals but was afraid he was going to be taken down if he spoke up.

This is fucked up man. These guys are real scumbags. This is what happens when a bunch of socially awkward losers are given positions of power over women. They treat any interaction with a female as an opportunity to romanticize them.

I’m as anti-woke as they come but I would never advise a woman to work at a place that has very few female seniors for reasons such as this.
