JPM Group Placement

Going thru group placement for JPM SA 25 and there doesn't seem to be much transparency about the process. I've gathered that starting from the 2nd call in a group, you will get some light technicals for some groups(except M&A in which its the 1st, and most others in which I have not received any technicals.)

Do these technical interviews get harder? How many 'rounds' are there typically (not M&A)? What about the groups that aren't asking me techs - is that a good or bad sign? Would be great if someone can shine some light on this.

Typically, the groups that ask technicals during placement are HC, M&A, M&C, and FSG. HC, M&A, and M&C are considered the top groups and expect their incoming SAs to be more technically sound. It's not neccessarily a good or bad sign - some groups just have certain preferences.
