JPM HC 2025??

Anyone have insight on how JPM HC is doing lately?? Thought it was regarded as the best group on the street but saw that Evercore just poached one of the co-heads of HC today.

Also noticed JPM has not been on majority of the major HC deals this year. Below is the list of 10bn+ HC deals announced in 2025 and looks like Centerview, GS and MS are dominating (Also no BofA???)

  • JNJ / Intra-Cellular ($14.6bn) Buy-side: Citi | Sell-side: Centerview & Jefferies
  • Sycamore / Walgreens ($23.7bn) Buy-side: UBS & GS & JPM & Citi & WF | Sell-side: Centerview & MS
  • Merck / Verona ($10bn) Buy-side: Citi & MS | Sell-side: Centerview
  • BD / Waters ($17.5bn) Buy-side: Barclays | Sell-side: Citi & Evercore
  • Blackstone & TPG / Hologic ($18.3bn) Buy-side: Citi | Sell-side: GS
  • Novartis / Avidity ($12bn) Buy-side: Gordon & Dyal | Sell-side: Barclays & GS
  • Kimberly Clark / Kenvue ($48.7bn) Buy-side: PJT & JPM | Sell-side: Centerview & GS
  • Abbott / Exact Sciences ($21bn) Buy-side: MS | Sell-side: Centerview & XMS

Citi HC to the moon! JPM falloff in HC to CVP/Citi might be at the hands of that former JPM/PWP hire they made along with the GS HC senior going to Citi a few years back. CVP Tokat is the second coming of Jesus in HC.
