JPM Hirevue

Just received JPM Hirevue.

  1. Any technichals on it? Anyone know what questions on it?

  2. I’m traveling to college tomorrow and am moving in and because of that will be very busy in the coming days. I wanna prep for it to make sure I do well. Do I need to do it asap or can it wait like 3 days? Could it wait like a day or 2?

  3. Any idea how to prep?

  1. Based on the most helpful WSO content, the J.P. Morgan HireVue interview typically focuses on behavioral questions rather than technical ones. However, the structure can vary depending on the division or region. Common questions include:
  • Why J.P. Morgan?
  • Can you tell us about a time you’ve acted as a leader?
  • What are your best qualities?
  • Can you tell us about a time you worked in a team to solve a problem?
  • What efforts do you make to stay on top of the markets on a regular basis?

Some users have reported conflicting information about the inclusion of technical questions, so it’s best to be prepared for both behavioral and light technical questions, especially if you're applying for a technical role.

  1. Regarding the timing, users on the forum have mentioned that the HireVue interview can typically wait a few days, but it’s always best to check the deadline provided in your invitation email. If no specific deadline is mentioned, completing it within 2-3 days should be fine. However, don’t delay too long, as it might reflect poorly on your enthusiasm for the role.

  2. To prepare:

    • Practice answering behavioral questions concisely in front of a webcam.
    • Review your resume and highlight experiences that showcase leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving.
    • Familiarize yourself with J.P. Morgan’s values, recent news, and market trends.
    • Use the practice question feature in HireVue to get comfortable with the format.
    • Dress in business professional attire and ensure your environment is quiet and well-lit.
