Jump from Valuation to IB
Currently at a valuation group in a MM bank (summer analyst), and want to make the switch over to IB. Anyone that has done this and coud share how?
Did you say your group in the networking email straight off the bat, or labeled yourself as just a summer analyst only to see the dissapointment in the other persons face during the coffee chat and just watched as they slowly lost interest in you? Just happened to me, so genuinely curious to know if I'm the only one.
Overall, how did you leverage your experience to land an IB role?
