Just in - Meal Reimbursement during WFH

My bank just announced that we can expense dinner like usual while working remotely. Anyone else have this?

I am thinking:

1) mini-bonus for Analysts and Associates who have been constantly busy for months or..

2) a way to encourage people moving back to NYC. Getting people thinking they can move out of their parents house, back into NYC, and not have to spend money on dinner as it was in the good ol (pre-covid) days.

Note** - this news came in about a 1-2 weeks before we get our bonus numbers so I am hoping there is no correlation such as "well bonus was ok but now you can charge clients $25 worth of dinner"..

Another kicker "Although weekend meals are eligible, we encourage people to take a break on weekends"

Banks haven't been expensing dinners? That was a huge perk of working in the office lol. Who has time to make food at home.... basically trading a $25 seamless take out meal for frozen hot pockets

would have to agree lol - idk why citi being so cheap and now this whole 500mm revlon thing will only make everything worse fml

If my bank doesn't start offering meal by EOM, I am advertising that it's not a BB in every college kids ranking thread.
