Can't confirm 50% exactly, but believe that is indeed correct. Just weren't enough open seats to extend an offer to every good performer.
Little late to the party here but was an 2023 SA, can confirm it was pretty bad for people and lucky enough to get an offer. 50% is a decent estimate of the offer rate or somewhere between 50-66%
