Have a lateral interview coming up.
Curious to know if the bank that you lateral into has any interaction with your old bank during the background checks. Do they simply call up HR and verify your old position title and salary? or will they inquire about the work you've done, quality level, manager's impression of you, etc.

edit: when I accepted a FT offer, a background check company asked me to provide 3 people from my internship at another firm, and HR only verified my summer employment.
