Lateral recruiting while working from the office full-time
I’m going to be starting in a full-time role soon, and was wondering how folks have gone about interviewing/networking for full-time roles while working in the office 5 days a week (firm policy). Unsure of how I should go about finding time to interview without raising suspicions.

Networking: easier to step off desk for half an hour every now and hop on a call. Can schedule it around lunchtime or downtime in evenings when it’s expected that you’d be off desk and others are more likely to be available / free to take your call. Interviews: a bit more difficult but from my experience, most of the interviews I’ve had are virtual and are flexible regarding timing, especially for preliminary rounds. I utilized similar scheduling/timing as I did for networking. Have to bite the bullet for in person interviews and technical assessments. For Superdays, i just used sick days and tried to schedule them back to back days and say I felt really ill. Or space out the in person interviews far enough (if able) to not arouse suspicion.
