Depends on firm and your background but EBs tend to be a lot more technical focused and can go beyond 400Q if they want. However, it’s more likely they want to ask technical questions in the context of your past deals/project experience, i.e walk us through the LBO of this deal on your cv, etc. Similar if it’s for a BB but they tend to be lighter on the technicals part.

All lateral interviews would be focused on why you’re looking to move also and it’s best to prepare a strong answer for this rather than focusing on getting the technicals perfect and having a poor story on your motivations for the move.
