I have a family friend starting at Lazard LA this summer but don't know anyone who knows anything about this office. Anybody here have any insight?

I'd want to say yes, but coverage offices can be bad as pitching can ruin your life. Also, this is Lazard, not exactly a lifestyle shop.
They were lead on the Cerberus-Supervalu deal that closed a couple days ago.

not as strong as other offices. they take more non-targs than NY/SF. still a great place to be in terms of deal flow and LA is fucking awesome
