While never having attended the school the guys who do get into investment banking from Lehigh tend to be strong on the Street. This is in terms of performance and experience.

The one thing they all had in common was they were massive party people as well (not sure if this is a frat thing or a sampling bias). Mass party guys, which of course isn't a bad thing if you're good.

No one likes extremely uptight people anyway.

The alumni network is excellent. If you have a strong GPA you'll have a very good shot. OCR is mostly for s&t (as well as some banking) though so networking is crucial.

Plus you'll have so much fun there. Feel free to PM with any specific questions.

Well, I just got home from caddying at a local country club and I caddied for a derivatives trader who started at Merrill lynch, moved to Bear Stearns, and now works at a smaller middle bracket firm. To belong to this country club lets say he must do very very well... He graduated from Lehigh with a degree in business/finance in year 2000 i believe, or the late 90's. So it has definitely been done before and has worked out well. Hope this helps!

i attend lehigh---and got internship at a top french bank ( for trading last summer) looking to get a full time offer in S+T as a junior---otherwise stick out out---apply to BB S+T summer

lehigh is solid in terms of alumni....I've been able to leverage contacts in order to get interviews at major shops---
