Basically its a pen that digitally records: -what you write -audio around you -syncs both of them together -lets you do back and revise notes and audio on paper or on computer -note you need "special paper" which is supposedly the same price as normal paper
would make taking notes during various meetings multiple times easier- would you use it during work or is it too douchy?

The special paper is by no means the same price as normal paper. At least, not since I last checked.
I had a close friend who lended me a Livescribe for school purposes my sophomore year. It wasn't any more useful than regular notetaking. Basically, if you take regular notes and record lectures on a voice recorder, it's the same thing.
Also, in a large lecture hall, the microphone sucks.
