how much does location matter to a group? for instance, should non-houston/texas energy or east-coast technology affect a decision to join that particular group or not?
i just want to shed a little light on this topic.. not sure how much this matters, or how significantly it does. thanks!

Every BB energy group is in Houston... Not sure about tech... In energy, it is important logistically to be in Houston as virtually your entire client base is in this city (with some in Dallas, and a handful of companies in Denver). Also, from an analyst's perspective, you will be more plugged into the network from which you may find your next job.
