Long term network contact
I am currently on a placement on a gap year. One of my colleagues (a graduate) says both his friend and his friends girlfriend work at GS. He said he would be happy to give me their contact details, but I’m not sure where to go from there. They are analysts.
1) Does being connected to an analyst mean much? 2) How do I maintain contact until I actually apply for roles? I still have a long way to go until I apply for a role (with the nearest being the 2024 spring week).
