Maybe Off Topic, but I Somewhat regret leaving IB, I miss the money.

I left IB after 3 years, and I regret it. I am working in a strategy role making just shy of $200K. It's remote, very chill. But I miss working with smart people (well... not super smart, but you get the point) and, moreover, I miss the money.

My buddy just bought a new Porsche, and I went to a networking event in SF this weekend, and everyone made more than me. People starting companies, people in tech... I just felt kind of imposter syndrome.

I don't want to go to business school. I went to a top school for undergrad. Ideally, I would also like something with slightly better WLB than IB

Does anyone have any advice? Feeling a bit lost. I got everything I wanted from leaving IB, but now I feel equally unhappy.

When I left IB, my mindset is "you only live once, why would I waste it working 80 hours a week."

IDK what happened to me. Maybe comparison with other colleagues. Maybe jealousy. Maybe getting older and realizing I'll want a family.

Deep down, I still have urges to go into startup, but I have also come to realize money matters. And money matters now more than when I was 22.

Sorry for the dump. That's where my headspace is at.

Bro figure it out you went  to a university obviously you’ll figure it out if you put your head down and think
