MBA GMAT Exception
Noticed an MBA program in my area is waiving or making exceptions for gmat requirements due to the virus. Assuming I don't take the test, would IBs just assume I scored low? If asked what my score was and I say I never took it, how will they look at that? My background is 2 years Corp. banking and 1 year Corp. finance/ strategy at a PE backed company.
Did they waive GMAT because the test will not be offered? As a backdrop: MBA markets are saturated. If the current situation continues, budget cut at some universities is quite possible. MBA programs provide a good source of income for B-schools and hence it would be best to fill the seats. Some programs with not-so-good-ranking may experience difficulty recruiting good applicants and hence possibly fewer requirement. I would say if you have time to prep for GMAT, do it. The score is good for 5 years. Having a score creates options for you. Tjis is assuming GMAT tests are still offered.
Top 25 program.
Seems like there may be a pause on in-person tests.

I'm terrible at standardized tests, so I saw this as an opportunity to attend a solid school. If all banks are going to be turned off that I didn't take it or if I won't even be considered than there is probably no point in applying.
What program?

I understand your concern for standardized test. I don’t have first hand knowledge whether banks will care if your did not take GMAT or how you got into a program. my guess is they won’t but I hope some other fellow monkeys can shed light on this.
