MD took it too far

Sorry clickbait.

Anyways I’ll be doing a 1 year Master’s in Finance beginning in Fall 26. Has anyone recently gone through FT recruiting (skipping the SA route and straight to AN1)? How was your experience and how did you end up placing? BB/EB/MM/LMM? Didn’t do my undergrad in the US so I missed the traditional route and will have to gun for FT. I know that since most FT roles get filled with return offers from SAs there are a lot less spots. Would love to hear if anyone went through a similar experience.

Edit: this is for NYC
