Medical Marijuana Card in Investment Banking
Does anyone hold their medical marijuana card and work in investment banking? If I have mine or go to get mine will it show up on a background check for a bank? Either SA positions or full time?

do you mean a legit medical card or one of those "medical cards" that you can get online in like 10 minutes from getnugg?? I don't think you'll have to worry about the latter but I am curious about this generally. I know banks test folks for weed during the onboarding process but is there regular drug testing once you're an employee as well?
I guess either? I am just referreing to if you are a medical patient in general if that will show up on a background check. Not sure what the difference between the two really would be to be honest.

It shouldn’t appear on a standard background check because it’s sealed by HIPAA.
It should say on the consent form roughly what goes into the background check, and you should be able to get a free copy of the report once it’s finalized.
Well if I have my medical card and I get to the background check and see that it would go in depth enough for this wouldn't it be too late at that point? Trying to avoid that situation entirely.
