Mizuho 2019 SA IBD

Hello everyone,

Ive been looking around these forums trying to get some insight into Mizuho, but haven't been able to find much info. Anyone have an experience with them? Looking to inquire specifically about the recruitment process and their SA program. Would appreciate any info on culture, hours, and general reputation throughout the industry. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Mizuho is very solid from what I hear. Very strong and big deals and they’re growing quickly. In terms of exit opps I heard of some MM PE and others to mega funds like KKR depending on which sector they’re in. Mizuho is strongest in their HC banking for sure. I think pay is street average or slightly above.

this guy is trolling for all you clueless folk out there. Mizuho does not have exit opps like these.

edit: throw all the monkey shit you want it doesn't change the facts. The only thing above that might be true is the HC banking being strong (emphasis on might. i have no idea so i can't say for sure) and their pay being average or slightly above (very likely, lower tier banks are indeed known to have higher comp than average to attract talent since their dealflow and analyst programs are weaker in comparison to BB or EB's)
