This is from summer 2014 for FT 2015. First round had 30 minute phone with senior associate or so. Mainly basic technicals on valuation, LBO, general finance knowledge. Second round in person two back to back in office interviews. One a 2 on 1 (Vp and associate) the other with staffer (vp). Basic technicals again with more accounting heavy and more PE stuff. Then mainly fit with staffer

This has to be a handshake thing and not a job app posting. I've spoken with an analyst and md and both said they don't know about ft needs yet and to follow up on the 16th. Update they just posted a job app on their site.

Just got that email as well. Wonder how many people applied, how many will get interviews, and how many they’re looking to hire

If anyone hears back from the SF sd today for the FT analyst position, please keep everyone else posted.

Lmk if yall hear back from the super - I had mine yesterday morning and still waiting

Had my super yesterday too; got an email from HR at around 3pm ET that I got dinged. It was super impersonal though so hoping that it was because I had to register multiple times due to tech issues rather than a rejection from the superday but not optimistic.

One of my interviewers called last night after I reached out to check on the status of my application. They told me they need another 24 hours to decide, so either they've already made an offer or will do so at some stage today. I'm giving it another few hours before giving up hope

Anyone here in for Chicago (just came out today)? Also, for NYC people, were there any curve balls? Have heard other EBs give less common technical questions

Hmmm I think pretty basic ones. Got one about levers in an LBO model and how would I value Tesla (or something along these lines, I just remember something about Tesla and I completely fumbled the bag on it). It's been a year so I don't remember too many specifics, but I remember I only really clicked with/liked one of my four interviewers that much lol. If you have the Indian guy (associate), beware. He was a douche canoe and must have had a chip on his shoulder and been out to prove something hahaha
