Hi all! I’ve been wandering around WSO and came upon an old (~’09) topic on Morgan Stanley’s Firm Strategy and Execution (FSE) group.
I’ve already accepted an IB position at a different BB for the next summer, but I’m really curious to learn more about this group for a potential full-time switch. Does anyone have any insight into what the group does now? Is it a corporate strategy type of position? What are the exit opportunities like?..

sort of - also get reps in PE modeling for strategic acquisitions and you get pretty good exposure to senior mgmt. in the firm. Helps if you want to stay long term and move into executive positions at MS.
