A friend of mine was recently placed into MS FIG for SA and is concerned about the group's general feel and culture/lifestyle. Less concerned about "deal flow", "prestige", "exit ops", et cetera. Would appreciate any information on the group, good or bad, from people who have worked there or know folks in that office. Thanks

Why are you posting for your friend?
No offense, man, but your friend should have done his research BEFORE accepting this offer. At this point, it really do not matter.
The problem is that it was a generalist offer and FIG was like her bottom choice. Just wants to know what to prepare for.
