Do people frown upon name dropping on online apps if you don’t tell the name-dropee in advance? For example if I have a mediocre phone convo with Bob is it fine to put his name down under ‘Name of the employee who referred you’ and then email him ‘btw I just put your name down I hope that’s cool?’
