Have never napped in the office other than occasional doze off during late hours. I live two blocks from my firm and even then, to change into more comfortable clothing, then lay down, take ~10 min to fall asleep and get up to change and go back just isn’t worth it to me. WFH is a different story and that’s very easy to do. But proximity to the office doesn’t make it anymore enticing imo.

Back when it was in-person, I would keep a blanket and pillow in one of my filing cabinets. When it was like 11:30pm and I was waiting for comments, I would selectively just sleep under my desk for 30 minutes with an alarm ready (maybe longer or shorter depending on who was providing comments). At that point in the night it was mainly just Analysts and Associates left so I didn’t really care about being professional at that point.
