Need Advise on Investment bank job offer

I have a temps offer to work as an AML KYC analyst in the compliance department of a global investment bank at NY. Should i take the offer ? My reservation is in the fact that this job is not permanent nor is there a committment to this effect. Are such jobs readily on offer and will it carry weight in my CV. Further the bank wants me to refer my other batchmates as well !! Does AML KYC and Onboarding learning will help me in my career. Do other investment banks hire temps as well for such positions. Can i get a permanent position ? Please advise.
