Networking Advice - Been cold networking for a while

Hey guys need some advice, so I've been cold networking for awhile and had ok results but I've recently run into a problem. I usually email people 3 times within a span of 2 weeks and after that I stop emailing. I only email 2 people at a group in a BB but so far no one has responded and I have decided to move on. My question is should I try contacting people in other groups at the same BB or will I get blackmailed for emailing to many people at the same place? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you e-mailing alumni? Usually if you put something in the subject like "Interest in X Firm - Y Undergrad reaching out", and you e-mail it to an alumni they'll most likely give it a read.

What I do is look for the firms "Team" or "About Us" page and scan through the bios to see if anyone went to my undergrad, and then hit those people up.

3 times in 2 weeks is excessive in my opinion. Email them once -> wait a week -> follow up if nothing -> if still nothing after another week then move on.

What does your cold e-mail template look like? If you're e-mailing asking about internship opportunities then you might not be getting responses because BB recruiting is basically over for the year.
