Ill be a junior next fall at a target and have been trying to increase my networking efforts. Ive just been compiling lists of alumni/friends/friends of friends in an excel file and have a pretty decent list.
I actually dont personally know most of my connections and was wondering how to go about the process.
Should I just send them a cold email explaining my relationship to them and then asking for advice? What should I be asking them considering Junior SA recruiting is not till next fall?
Ask them for advice? How work is? I dont want to be seen as an annoying individual who sprang up out of the blue and started asking a ton of questions.
Bottom line how do you go about establishing some form of a relationship with someone you dont know for networking purposes?
