I currently have an interview lined up with a BB, happens to be a bank where I have not networked with anyone. Would it be frowned upon to send an email to someone in the group for an informational chat? I'd love to just get someone on the phone to talk casually about their experiences and express my interest, ultimately hoping that this will increase my visibility and improve my chance.
