New England State school for IB vs Baruch
Currently attending a state school in New England(UNH/URI/UMASS) and only recently gained interest in IB a few months ago. Going off of linked in and who recruits at my school, it seems as if the odds are stacked against me on top of that to stay at my school I will need to take out loans(90-100K). However I am an instate resident in NY so I would be able to transfer to Baruch college(15-25k). Multiple BB banks and boutiques are known to recruit there on top of that it is pretty easy to get internships during the school year due to the schools location. My only concern is that the school is a commuter school and has absolutely no social life or community on top of that I would have to live at home, which isn't a big deal I would just kind of lose the sense of being independent. Would losing all of my current friends at my current school be worth it in the end. Any feedback appreciated.

If your only goal is to make it into IB then yes I would transfer. None of UNH, URI, or UMASS are very good state schools and all have very limited presence in banking
