Nichey FIG boutiques / LMM banks?
Hey monkeys - what are some smaller, lesser-known FIG players I should have on my radar for deal flow in the LMM/MM? Groups like Colonnade, Waller Helms. Mostly focused on insurance, specialty finance, consumer finance, auto F&I. Anything FIG that isn’t a depository.

MarshBerry focuses on Insurance. I have no clue how active or good they are, but I’ve seen their name pop up a few times
Not sure if these firms are small enough for what you're looking for, but KBW (Stifel) and Sandler O'Neill (now Piper Sandler) are pretty strong MM FIG practices.

Silver Lane Advisors is a good NYC boutique that focuses on AM/WM. Recently acquired by Raymond James but still operates independently.
