No internship this summer->SA 2021 dinged?
I'm curious as to how bankers will view kids like myself who weren't able to get an internship this summer. I live in a stilI-closed part of the county but had two opportunities lined up, both of which fell through. I've stopped pursuing internships and thought my time would be better spent networking and prepping technicals. Is this an issue if I can tangibly point to things I've been doing eg. taking classes, investing my own money or should I still try and find something to put on the resume?
ill be honest. When they see this it wont hurt you. They know that covid led to a lot of people losing their internships. However, where it will hurt you is when you are going up against a kid that interned somewhere that didn't cancel and it is relevant to the job.
Thanks, in your opinions is it worth it then to try and find another internship so late in the summer, or should I just give up and try to overcome this through prepping real gars
