No offer for 2026...any info on CIB

Well as the title suggests I wasn't able to get an IB offer at any BB or EB for summer 2026. I come from a very unique non-finance background (poor, community college --> semi/regional target) and just didn't understand what it took to get an offer until too late.

I feel like shit, but am looking to maybe go into a different side of finance. Does anyone have any inisght on Corporate banking recruitment? I haven't many postings about it from firms like Barclays or Santander on the west coast. Any insight on whether recruiting has already started, what the processes are like, and any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
