No progression or am I just stupid?

Half way through my first year being an analyst and I feel like I’m not learning as much as I should. Haven’t built any models, no difficult work in excel, mostly client service decks and one of BS tasks.

Was lucky to be staffed on a deal that was in the later stages as soon as I hit the desk but it announced about a month in so didn’t have any meaningful work streams as the other analyst did the heavy lifting.

Any advice / anyone else feeling like they aren’t getting what they want out of their analyst experience?
