No response after interview? Please help me with this situation.

I am currently in the interview process with a boutique IB for a full time analyst position. I had 4 phone interviews in total, including one with the co-founder yesterday. I thought the phone interview with the founder went okay, only asked about my background. All the other interviews were with VP's, associates, principals, etc. I received an offer from another place, but I told him I really wanted to work for his bank and at the end of yesterday's interview, the co-founder told me he will talk to the other interviewers and look to doing an in-person interview, so I can decide which company I want to work at. I was asked if I had a preference for the office location, which I replied no. Usually they email me very quickly (1 hr) after an interview to book another phone interview, but I haven't heard anything from them since yesterday. I was wondering how to interpret this situation, did I not get the position? Why are they taking longer to respond than usual?
