Nomura vs. CS vs. PJT
Which firm would be the best for M&A experience and analyst experience? It seems like there is a lot on here about CS slashing it's investment banking business similar to UBS and DB. I think I would be interested in solely working on M&A would you say Rothschild is the strongest for this? It seems like they are doing better in the league tables than CS for M&A as well as Nomura.
Rothschild has a great rep. and strong in M&A, lean deal teams, interesting deal exposure. Would probably go with them.
In Europe Rothschild is up there with Lazard as a EB. But in the USA they are no better than a mediocre MM.
Been top 20 in US by deal count consistently
False, if you listened to CS earnings call you would know that CS is looking to grow its advisory and M&A practice. They are only cutting redundant roles in risk and compliance
