Non-Target Tells in Banking

What are the best ways to tell if someone is from a non-target in your banking group (e.g., Devry, Bama, Michigan, UT Austin, Brown, non-Wharton Penn, etc.)??

Obviously there’s the distinctive smell and hair distribution but both of those can be masked with modern technology. What are some more subtle signs?

As much as they try to fit in, a dirty nontarg is easy to spot if you know what to look for: it’s the little things like being well-liked, having a sense of humor, good EQ, strong work ethic, a life outside the office, etc. If your group has been infiltrated, DO NOT APPROACH. Keep a safe distance and embrace your Ivy League superiority from afar.

But how will you know I’m better than you if I don’t tell you I went to school in Cambridge? I need you to know I’m better than you because I went to school in Cambridge (and didn’t go to MIT 😉).
