Nonprofit endowment internship
Hi,
I’m a freshman at a tier 2 target (think Duke, Penn CAS, Dartmouth etc.). I’ve been offered an internship with a group managing an endowment of about 500 million dollars for a nonprofit. I don’t imagine non-profits are that looked well upon in recruiting, but it is heavily related to finance. Would this be viewed as a relevant/helpful internship for recruiting, or would continuing to look for a PWM role or something else in the for-profit sector?
