5th week at a small boutique and haven't gotten paid yet. Not sure who to ask as there isn't really HR here and I don't want to ask my MD.

You positive you are supposed to get paid? I’m assuming by your title it’s an internship? I wouldn’t be afraid to ask the MD if you are positive it’s a paid internship. Dont let anyone play with your money, ever.
