Notre Dame (Mendoza) vs. UNC (Honors Program and Kenan-Flagler) Undergrad

Notre Dame would be about 20K more per year, and I prefer the social scene there. Would UNC with Honors be worth giving a look? What are job prospects like at both schools? Looking for IB or PE

Honors at UNC doesn't really matter unless you really have a preference for small, discussion based classes. UNC places well especially given how small KF is. I have several friends going into IB at ND and one at UNC. Id say that it should be up to how much you value 80k, will it be loans or are your parents covering it? The difference really is minimal. Also how on earth could you prefer the social scene at ND?

My parents will be covering most of it I would just feel bad because of the financial burden. I like the smaller student body and the dorm system seems pretty cool to me. I stayed a weekend at ND and had a blast. I'm still waiting to hear from Ross (got admitted EA to Mich LSA) but I hate that its 30K undergrads on one campus.

ND better for placement but as greenflamingo said.. the party scene at UNC blows Notre Dame out of the water
