NYU Non-Stern -> IB Viability?
I was recently accepted into the NYU Tandon School of Engineering for Computer Science for undergrad as I wanted to have a shot at IB -> PE, but also possibly go into quant/hedge fund, as I feel heavily skilled in the STEM fields (for reference, I earned qualifications to both USAMO and USAPhO in high school, scoring in the top 250 and top 400 on the biggest high school math and physics competitions in the country, respectively).
I have earned a spot at some other semi-target schools, such as Carroll, but feel as if NYU would provide me a great chance at placement at great firms.
At Tandon, I have the option to add a Finance Minor, along with my major of CS. How are my chances for breaking into IB, both abstractly, but also comparatively to Stern? Thanks very much.
If you are a USAMO qual start grinding math/quant techs right now and you have a shot
USAMO and USAPHO and couldn’t even get into Stern? I feel for you bro college app shit is fucked
