Off-cycle and COVID 19

I see many of you discussing about SA at BB. Does anyone have any official information for off-cycle (or FT) offers?

We have around 10/15 off cycle internships at the moment working from home. The initial plan was to hire 30/40% with early offers for FT 2020, which is now cancelled. All of them are now competing with SAs. (Note this is in LDN and at my BB the OC class has a historical conversion rate of 85/90%)

You mention the 30/40% versus 80/90% conversion rate. So what makes the conversion rate so low this year to begin with prior to the decision to let off-cycle interns compete with SAs? And do you have any ideas about this year’s SA conversion rate assuming your BB won’t follow Citi? Thanks again.
30/40% applies to early offers, meaning that interns who started in Jan could get offers to go straight to FT this summer and not summer 2021. At this point, HR has put a stop to this. So all OCs will now directly compete with SAs
Hey, thank you for the info. Could you tell me if those people started internships before the pandemic? I was mostly concerned about up-coming internships (in April/May). I heard that some banks had decided to push back all internship start dates until further notice. But no one speaks about new start dates or going virtual as for SAs.
