Office Reopening and Expectations

Looks like firms are starting to announce their plans for reopening and expectations around being back in the office. JPM, GS, and MS taking center stage with their requirements to have people fully back in the office, which seems somewhat tone deaf to the future state of the workplace but definitely on par for them given they couldn't give two sh*ts about their employees.

Curious what people think about the firms making the decision to go back to the old model of being fully in the office, will they receive pushback from the workforce and have to backpedal their decision? What are some of your firms doing and how are they going about making their decisions around going back to the office? What kind of workplace model would you prefer (i.e., fully back to the office, hybrid, freedom to be in and out of the office as you see fit, etc.)?

My firm did a number of surveys to gauge employee preferences and decided to go with a hybrid model of 2-3 days in the office per week at the team/employees discretion on what days that might be, which seems reasonable. I like WFH and wouldn't mind doing it 100% but I like the option to essentially come and go as I please.
