People that worked in finance and went on to found/create your own successful business, what’s your story?
I love IB/PE/PC but want to have my own business one day after a few years of experience in high finance. Am very interested in learning of stories from people in this forum that had their fair share of experience in finance and proceeded to found their own business — mainly those that are not “startup” founders and perhaps did something not as high-tech/sexy.
What was your job(s) before exiting, what is your business now, and could you share how much approx. you think your stake is worth? Did you just do it because of money or you wanted to have your own thing?
